Grandkids and Camping

We spent another weekend in Oklahoma camping and spending time with the grandkids. Anna Claire was confused because the RV was at a different location than two weeks ago. She wanted to know where the lake was and where the horses were. She finally decided the horses had gone on a trip. I had such a hard time explaining to her that we were at a different location. Later she got to thinking and then asked "Ma, did the horses go on a horse trip?" I decided it was easier to just say yes than to try to explain again.

Brent and his friend, Mark, with some of the ducks. Ma with her angels! Granddad kept saying to Anna Claire "You are my little angel." Anna Claire would say back "I not angel...I Anna Care." Bennett wasn't feeling well. He's cutting teeth and he also had a fever most of the day Saturday. Anna Claire decided to cover the pumpkin in the coloring book with stickers. When we ran out of pictures in the coloring book for stickers, we then put stickers on our fingers, pajamas, and anywhere else that we could find. She prefers to put stickers on other people than herself. Still into Elmo! She is sitting on the couch watching an Elmo movie while I am warming something up for supper. Bennett and Anna Claire laying in bed. As soon as I took the picture, Anna Claire moved to the other side. She said Bennett kept hitting her. Anna Claire after being told to NOT smile for the camera.

Video of Anna Claire telling Ma a story about the bad king. I also had just bought a new comforter and it had loose strings at one end. Anna Claire couldn't quit playing with the strings.

Video of Mousey hurting his head. This video is soooo sad. Anna Claire was so sad because mousey (the bunny she sleeps with every night) bumped his head.

Video of Anna Claire and Bennett playing in bed.

Hi Betsy.
Your awol friend here. I love all your pictures and your sentiments are wonderful about Papa Jack and the soldier you had lunch with on Veteran's day. Not an easy time, and yet they take in stride nearly always.
Sorry for the absence - will be back soon.
Love and hugs,
Sue
