As we were pulling into the Lost Bridge park I told Gary that I was certain we were the only people on the planet that packs up and goes camping at the first sign of bad weather. Well, I'm here to tell you. There were five other couples who had the same idea! There's 34 camp spots and 5 were taken. We were 1 of the 5.

Rain, it did. We watched "Quantum of Solace," "Slumdog Millionaire," "Changeling," and "The Day The Earth Stood Still." All that AND the Kentucky Derby. We discussed how far Lexington was from Louisville. If it's not that far we may go ahead and buy some tickets for next year! (I just checked the Internet...it's only 1 hour 17 minutes from Lexington. Tried to order tickets but they aren't selling yet.)
Here's a pic of me. This was the ONLY time I was outside, except for sightseeing, all weekend. I'm not really a "roughing it" type of person even though it may appear I am!

More rain. And then Gary tried to start a fire. He was very determined. Just as he got a decent fire going, the rain started coming down hard!

It was also cold. The "neighbor" who we do not know his name or where he is from, invited Gary to go fishing with him. As Gary left in the boat I just prayed that he would come back! He (the neighbor) was nice but so are serial killers.

Because it was too bad to go hiking or sitting around the fire we decided to sightsee the area. We went to the "Lodge at Whitney Mountain" and then to the marina. I had a crazy idea to shop at the marina. Well, I could have if I wanted a beach towel that looked like it had been on the rack for 10 years and some lake shoes that looked like they had been for sale past their time. We were really out trying to find some firewood but never did.
As we were driving home today Gary asked me where we were going next. I suggested that we stay home so that I can pull weeds and he can work on the fence. We have completly neglected the house and yard for the last month. But...there's another day I guess. Nomad living is catching on with me. Who would have known???
