I just saw that it has been a week since I posted anything. We just got home from southeast Arkansas. I don't know why I am so tired...I slept from Conway to Rogers and I am still sleepy.
I don't have pictures from this weekend. We had a family reunion on the farm Saturday. Mandy was there and she is looking pregnant. I'm a little ticked off with my family, though. Sancy had us over Saturday night to eat and while we were there Jessica called. Honestly, Jessica asked me to take a picture of Mandy because she wanted to see a pregnant Mandy. After I got off the phone with Jessica I told Mandy I needed to take her picture by request from Jessica. You should have heard the jokes and laughs. It was something like "Sure, Betsy, sure Jessica asked YOU to take a picture." "Oh, another picture for the blog!" "Oh, Aunt Betsy, I'm sure it was Jessica's idea!" Everyone thought I made it up. I tried to call Jessica back to ask her to confirm her request for everyone but the battery in my phone is dead and I can't figure out Gary's. Everyone was laughing so hard and I was frustrated because no one believed me. So, no picture. I would appreciate it if Jessica would vouch for me next time she sees her father-in-law. Mandy was the only sweet one in the whole bunch! She said "I believe you Aunt Betsy."
Then, this morning Matt preached in church. Boy is he a good speaker/preacher! Before I went to church I worked some on Mother's computer. Her speakers have not been working and she has not been able to hear Matt's famous interview. She's only been able to look at it..soundless. So, now she can watch and hear it all she wants.
I really wanted to take pictures Sunday to put on the blog but I was still mad about the jokes on Saturday night that..the stubborn me..decided no pictures at all! :)
So, that's the weekend. It was quick, lots of food, lots of family. Now, I'm off to take a hot bath and watch tv.

Sounds like a hot bath is just what you need.
Oh Betsy,
It's rough when we are just trying to do a nice thing for someone and others see it as having an ulterior motive. You have a beautiful family - and whether or not you post them on the blog is neither here nor there. It's that you really just want to capture loved ones during moments in time. That is what matters. You do a great job - keep on posting those pics, but most of all, be true to that memory of what's behind the picture - even if nobody believes you. Years from now, when you are going through those pictures, you can smile at your grandkids and say, "Oh I remember when THIS was taken..." and there will be a wonderful story.
Hugs my friend,
Sue
