Walmart Cashier: "$5.88"
Betsy: "Oh, I only got one."
Walmart Cashier: "I only charged you for one."
Betsy: "Can you check the price again?"
Walmart Cashier: "Here's the sticker...$5.88"
Betsy: "Please take the sticker off. I don't want my husband to see that I paid over $5 for one balloon." By the way, Gary didn't care what I spent on the balloon. I seem to be the only person who thought that was way too much money.
We arrive at the trailer and our friends were already there. I must say, that almost $6 balloon has offered hours and hours of satisfaction with Kaidy. We even took Mickey on a hike this morning! No kidding!
Karen asked me when was the last time I bought a balloon. Oh, at least 20 years ago. Enough said.
We finally got to go boat riding. Karen and Ron brought their party barge. They had two dogs and Kaidy spent most of the night giving the dogs her supper.

We just got home for lunch and the afternoon nap. This week every time something was dropped or spilled I would say "No worries...no problem." Kaidy was eating pizza, peaches and yogurt and the yogurt dropped to the floor. Slimy! She immediately said "No worries." Whoever said children do not imitate adults. Probably no one because we all know they do. Life is good.
Gotta go turn on the monitor and hit the pool!
