The wedding shower was immediately after the rehearsal dinner. Jessica, Shane's sister-in-law, and Meghan, Jess's sister, hosted it at the Orr Chalet. I'm pretty sure Jess's family thought they would never make it up the mountain. It was extremely steep and the road was one lane.
Meghan and Jessica had all the fixings for ice cream sundaes. The theme was the same as the rehearsal dinner. Shane and Jess opened many nice gifts. Kathy and Charles gave me beautiful cornsilk flowers from Kentucky. I have them on a glass table in the piano room and they look beautiful. Gary received Kentucky Bourbon Balls from Kathy and Charles. I sampled one or two on the way home and they were wonderful! I guess I just gave them another son-in-law! That makes four for them.
