Trying to Remember

I'm trying to remember what all we did this week. Most days I am dragging my feet but when the kids are here we are on "high energy."

Let's see...not in any particular order.

Bennett and Gary listened to music on Gary's IPod.

Bennett and Gary went to a gun show. When Gary was getting ready to go Bennett saw Gary put on his hat. Immediately, Bennett walked up to Gary and said "at...at...at" So, we found Bennett's hat and he was happy. Just like Granddad.

Anna Claire and Gary had a special "date night" to a Razorback basketball game to eat pizza and watch the cheerleaders. Anna Claire came home and started cheering with her poms poms.

We went to Chick Fil A for lunch one day. Bennett got stuck in the very top of the playground equipment and busted his lip. Jessica had to crawl in and get him.

Made a trip to Chuck E Cheese where Jessica commented that Gary was a celebrity. Several of his students work there and they all spoke to him. Bennett gave Chucke Cheese a high five.

Went to Barnes and Noble and had chocolate milk. Anna Claire and Jessica went to story hour. Bennett played with the trains.

The Springale "Miracle of Emma Street" parade was a hit with the kids. They bought light swords and watched the parade. Their favorite part were the horses.

Went to see Memaw and Papaw. Anna Claire asked if this was the "old Papaw." She has two Papaw's...Gary's dad and Jessica's dad.

Bennett loved the Dancing Santa. He would be very serious and dance every time the Dancing Santa would dance.

Anna Claire painted some Christmas ornaments to hang on her tree at home and also Ma and Grandad's tree. She also made a Christmas wreath.

Bennett is starting to tell Jessica "No" and he tries to hit her when he's mad. On the way to the parade he was acting up and yelling "No" for no reason at all.

This morning Anna Claire wanted to snuggle with me. Bennett did too. Bennett wanted me to cover him with his "blue blankie." Anna Claire spread her legs over mine and her feet were touching the blue blankie. Bennett had a fit. He did not want Anna Claire touching his blankie!

Bennett crawls halfway up the stairs, stops and looks down and yells "Hi Granddad."

We did tons more, just can't remember right now. Plus, I need to get back to work.

Betsy,
I'm so glad that you had so many good times that you can't remember them all. Tomorrow you will remember more...and the day after as well.
May they all bring blessings as you recall each one.
Hugs my friend,
Sue
