It's not the makeover I wanted but I'll take it. Several months ago the editor of "At Home Arkansas", Diane Carroll, contacted me about a bath makeover. After several communications with Diane I became more and more excited about having a professional decorator to give me advice on how to makover my master bathroom. Diane had wanted to include a feature on Shane possibly being deployed but Shane nixed that idea.
I was very pleased with the suggestions Andrea Brooks, interior designer, gave me. At Home Arkansas was also responsible for decorating and designing the house of a friend of mine, Jamie Banks. Jamie told me that I would be very pleased with their suggestions. Her entire house was featured in the December issue.
Now, here's what I plan on doing with the suggestions. I will do everything but the vanity suggestion. I just don't want to change the color of the vanity. I know that turquoise is the color this year but I also know it will not be the color next year. I also need to find out what I am supposed to put on the little step next to the tub.
So, now a picture of my "bland" bath is there for the world to see. I didn't know they were going to publish the before picture. If I had known that, I would have moved some things out.
After I do the makover, I'll be having pictures made again. We'll see how that goes!

WOW, that's pretty nice. I can't wait to see pictures of the "new and improved" version of your bathroom.
