I don't know if this is a true story- but daddy always said that 2-mama prayed none of her children would have red hair, and they didn't. She prayed none of the grandchildren would have red hair, and they didn't. Then the first 3 or 4 great grandkids had red hair :)
You know- I always wondered whose nose I had- cause it wasn't daddy's, and it wasn't momma's, then I saw a picture of 2-mama and I at my wedding-I have her nose :)

Betsy and Sancy always called her Tomama. Brett and I always called her 2-mama. We were told she wanted to be our 2nd mama...thus 2-mama

Sara, that is a true story. 2-Daddy had a brother and a sister with red hair. I read that 2-Daddy's grandfather, Civil War soldier, also had red hair, so it is definitely a Johnson characteristic. But, it was the great grandchildren who had red hair.
Uncle Pat began the name 2-Mama when Sancy was born. Being the first grandchild, she stayed with 2-Mama and 2-Daddy a lot. Pat started calling her "Mama too". Sancy was calling her "too"; then it became 2-Mama.
Uncle Bob (2-Mama's son), Niakki (2-Mama's granddaughter and Uncle Bob's daughter) and Sara (2-Mama's great granddaughter, Uncle Bob's granddaughter, Aunt Billie Jean's granddaughter, Brett's daughter)
