Dear Shane,
Whenever you are able to see this I hope you have a great birthday. You may be far away but you are right in the middle of my heart and soul. There's not a minute that goes by that I don't say a prayer. I talk to God all the time asking him to hold your hand for just a minute.
I am so proud of the husband you are to Jess. A mother always wonders when her son gets married how he'll take care of his wife. You make me so proud. You are always so thoughtful and loving. You have such a sweet nature personality, always have.
Looking at all the pictures of your life brings a few tears to my eyes, but they are happy tears.
I'm sure this entire week you are aware of the caring of so many people for you. Your work is not going unnoticed.
As Dad said the other day, "the days can not go fast enough." We love you so much and are anxiously waiting to see you again.
