Day one of the pool rennovation has started. It was yesterday. This is all that got done yesterday. The old pool liner taken out. Pipes and jets tested.
DAY TWO
More progress today. Shell washed and cleaned. Foam added. Liner in process of being installed. It's looking pretty. You can ALMOST imagine being at the ocean!
DAY THREE
Clay, Indian Summer Pools, just finished. Adding water now. Now it's time to do the cleaning up, landscaping, bringing out the lawn furniture pillows, do "something" about all the weeds in the flower beds, buy plants, etc. Gary will be busy in retirement. I told him now the upkeep (i.e. checking chemicals every week, keeping it clean) to the pool is his responsibility.
Bennett was asking me about the pool last week. I don't know why he was thinking about it but I need to call him and tell him it's ready. COLD, but ready.

Betsy,
It's sooo pretty and I can imagine how much you, and Gary, and the kids are looking forward to filling it with water and jumping in. Such a pretty color - and what a BIG job that must have been...assuming you had it done by someone.
Enjoy every minute. It won't be long and that warm Arkansas weather will be with you every single day.
Hugs and love,
Sue
