Anna Claire and Gary (Granddad) on hay ride. We were waiting for everyone to get on.
Bennett and Betsy (Ma) on hay ride.
Anna Claire and Bennett riding the mules.
Bennett playing on the hay bales.
Anna Claire and Bennett picking out pumpkins.
I don't think Bennett was supposed to be climbing on the pumpkins. I turned my head and he was in the middle of the pumpkins crawling all over them trying to find his pumpkin.Anna Claire took the longest to pick out a pumpkin because they were all "dirty." She did not want one with dirt on it. Have you been to a pumpkin patch lately??? They all had just a little dirt on them.
Anna Claire's pumpkin was so heavy she couldn't ever pick it up. Gary (Granddad) had to carry it for her.
Anna Claire drew the pattern on the pumpkin and Gary (Granddad) did the carving. Bennett was fascinated with the whole process. The mum on the kitchen counter also came from the Pumpkin Patch. Anna Claire picked it out. We came home with one mum and two pumpkins.
The finished product. I think Gary (Granddad) was quite proud.
Anna Claire made ghost and pumpkin luminaries using glass jars. I had the same number of jars for each child. Bennett felt like this was work and he just wasn't into doing crafts. I did encourage him to do at least one luminary. In this picture he is drawing a picture of a ghost.
This is it! He just wasn't into crafts. But, I still think he is very proud of his ghost. I was proud of it. I have all the pumpkins and ghosts displayed on the mantle above the fireplace.Anna Claire is making a Cheerio bird feeder to hang on a branch outside.
Bennett didn't want to make a Cheerio bird feeder. He is playing with his matchbox cars instead.

Sutton is in his Halloween pajamas. He is in his best mood in the mornings. If I take pictures of him I have the best luck in the morning time.
This morning around 6:30 a.m. Gary (Granddad) and Brent left to go to the cabin. It was work day. I was sad to see Bennett go. Secretly, I was hoping he would want to stay with me but when Brent mentioned fishing that was it. He loves fishing more than anything. What is funny...he's only three years old but he is a better fisherman than a lot of adults. He also has on his favorite clothes in the whole world. He loves hunting clothes. Last night Anna Claire told me she wanted some pink camo's. That isn't like Anna Claire at all. She is too girly. She told me she wanted some so that she could be like Bennett and Sutton. I think she is a little jealous that Bennett and Sutton can dress alike so much.
Bennett with is fish he caught at Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Jessica, Sutton, Anna Claire and I spent the afternoon at Chuckee Cheese. I didn't take pictures because I have posted a jillion pictures of the kids at Chuckee Cheese. Katie, Jessica's sister, and Walker, her 5 month old baby met us there. Sutton and Walker did not like Chuckee Cheese. Katie didn't stay long at all because Walker was just miserable there. Sutton wasn't happy but he gradually got used to it. It was too loud and the lights were flashing all around. He was overstimulated and it was just too much for him.
They left from there to go back home to Norman. Brent and Jessica are working in the church in the morning.
Miscellaneous Information:
Sutton is in a size 2 diaper, 6 - 12 months clothes, size 1 shoe.
Sutton's favorite song is "The Wheels on the Bus." He can be pouting and if you start singing that song he'll start smiling. I sang that song a lot today at Chuckee Cheese.
Anna Claire got her report card yesterday and she did the best that you can do. The teacher told Jessica that she always raises her hand to talk.
Anna Claire wears a size 10 shoe. Bennett wears a size 11 shoe.
Anna Claire's favorite color is purple. Bennett's favorite color is camo.
Anna Claire always asks me "Now, you aren't going to spoil me, are you Ma?" As she says it there is a little twinkle in her eye.
Any time Anna Claire and Bennett see something they want on tv they will say "Ma, can you get that for me for my birthday or Christmas?" Right now Anna Claire wants some house shoes that have animal features, like a unicorn, on them and when you stomp down the ears pop up. There's a commercial for those and she wants them for her birthday or Christmas!
Anna Claire's favorite food is still spaghetti. Bennett has decided he no longer likes spaghetti. He now says corn dogs are his favorite food.
When the kids spend the night with us we always take our baths early, put on pajamas, and then lay in bed and watch cartoons. I try to sneak in little conversations with each of them during that time. If I have my laptop at home we'll watch a good children's movie on Netflix. Last night it was cold so we were going to have hot chocolate but by the time we finally got in bed (7:30 p.m.) we had all forgotten about hot chocolate. Even though cartoons were on we spent the time just playing in the bed. I had gotten both kids pumpkin flash lights. We covered up with the bedspread and made it into a little tent and used the flashlights to see. Then, Bennett would sit up in bed and throw his entire body on us thinking it was funny.
Last night while we were in bed we decided to tell secrets. Anna Claire whispered in my ear "You are the best Ma in the whole world!" Bennett whispered in my ear "Boody...Boody...Boody." That Bennett....I don't know what to say! The last time we saw them, which was only about 2 or 3 weeks ago, he asked me if I had a baby in my tummy! I love them dearly! With all my heart.
