The University of Arkansas Razorbacks played Auburn last night. It was a late game...8:00 p.m. I spent most of my time stalking on Facebook. It was a small crowd and the student section didn't seem very vocal to me.
So, our seats are on the first row in the upper section. Great seats for us. We never have to stand up because no one is in front of us. Then, I can look down and people watch. I always spot Judy and her husband Phil. Judy doesn't know that, though. I spy on Tommy Free from Siloam and his wonderful wife, Becky. Last night he was holding his granddaughter and they filmed her on the jumbotron.
Here is what is funny. I am watching people instead of the game and about the second quarter I spot my nephew and his girlfriend and another couple. My nephew, William, is a freshman in college. So, naturally I'm already on my phone and I message him and say "Look to the right and up." I can watch him looking and looking to the right. I text again "Look up." He looks up but he's not looking to the right enough. He texts me back "What section?" I text back "212 and look more to the right." He finally sees me and I stand up and just wave and wave like a crazy person. He does the same! We looked crazy to other people I'm sure.
But, I spent the rest of the game keeping an eye on him. He sure does look at his iPhone a lot!
It's so much fun having him here. I only see him when he wants to see me, which is not often. But, he's so close. Nice!
