Brent's Birthday Weekend

36 years! I told Brent that when he reached 40 I didn't want to celebrate anymore. I will feel like I am soooo old then! I'm just kidding but my boys are getting older.

Gary and I went to Oklahoma. We had a busy weekend. Brent's birthday, dove hunting and football.

Brent opening gifts from Gary and me. It's all hunting stuff naturally.

 

 He did receive some nice polo shirts from us.

The birthday hat! We can't have a birthday without a birthday hat. I will have to go back through all my pictures but I think I started the birthday hat when Brent turned 21. Everyone has worn it since.

Anna Claire made and wrote the sweetest card for her Daddy.

He blew the candle out too early. Then, everyone was playing with his new "toys" and Jessica and I were the ONLY ones singing Happy Birthday. After Bennett was through looking at the hunting stuff he said "Aren't we going to sing Happy Birthday?" Jessica said "We did!"

 Bennett and Sutton were the ones opening their Daddy's gifts!

Anna Claire and Sutton love to play school. Sutton went up to Anna Claire and asked her if she wanted to play school. What impressed me was the lesson Anna Claire was teaching. She was teaching shapes. She pointed to a shape and Sutton had to point to a picture that had the shape in it. Very advanced for a 3 year old. They have a little chair and table in the school office. Sutton sits so straight in the chair and he is so serious. It really was impressive but Anna Claire did not want me watching.
