We left Rogers, AR on Thursday, October 30th after Gary got off work. Hoping to drive to St Louis at least we didn't make it that far. Around 9:00 PM we stopped in Rolla, Missouri and got a room at Drury Inn. Finally made it to Lexington, Kentucky around 6:30 PM.
Normally we spend Shane's birthday with him closer to his actual birthdate but this year we had tickets to the Breeder's Cup so we waited until later in October to visit.
American Pharoah was the featured horse. Gary insisted I keep the ticket. I did and I will probably have it framed.
