This Full House

This full house is busy 24 hours a day. Sleep...non existent. Baby Bennett insists on eating every two hours. Does that mean that you sleep every two hours??? Nope! Bennett takes his time eating, spending from 30 - 45 minutes at a time. From the time he begins eating, he's awake two hours later to eat again! We have a snuggler and lover! He eats, snuggles, falls asleep, realizes you have laid him down, groans and moans until you pick him up and lay him across your chest. Do we complain? Not one bit. We are so blessed!

Everyone wants to know how 23-month old Anna Claire is doing? Anna Claire loves Bennett. She is very generous with everything she has. You may see Bennett with a pretzel in his hand or a book laying on him. Anna Claire would love to have Bennett keep his eyes open longer. She often says "Open eyes...baby....open eyes." She loves to kiss Bennett on his forehead. She seems to be more interested in her baby dolls now. She loves feeding them. She got a new Elmo baby and a Cabbage Patch baby doll. She takes good care of them covering them up and feeding them a bottle. Anna Claire has a birthday coming. Ma asked her what she wanted for her birthday. She said "Shoes." Ma said okay but what else did she want. Anna Claire said "Two shoes." Well, okay, but is there anything else you would want. Her reply "Cookies."

Ma took Anna Claire to Toys R Us the other day. All she wanted to do was try on shoes. The glittery, shiny, colorful shoes are her favorites. Ma did buy her some flip flops (sandals), which she loves. Some friends came over the other night. The friends had a small child. Anna Claire came running to Ma saying "Fip fops on Ma....fip fops on....show." Anna Claire wanted to show her "fip fops" to her friend. Once she got the flip flops on, she went running in the family room and just stood in front of the young friend waiting for the friend to see the flip flops. Then the two girls started putting makeup on each other.

The two parents have been existing on no sleep. They are so blessed. Friends have been bringing over food almost daily. It was hard leaving. Brent and Jessica had taken the children (that sounds weird!) to the park. Ma needed to vacuum the house and Anna Claire is scared of the vacuum cleaner. When they came back Ma was gone. Anna Claire went from room to room yelling "Ma!....Ma!" Brent and Jessica told her Ma had to go home. She started saying "More Ma....More Ma...." She's a special one to me!
