Wanna See The Grandkids?

This was Gary's favorite pasttime. Bennett is doing so much better and he is a healthy 14 lb. 4 month and 2 week old little boy.
Since Anna Claire absolutely hated the pool at this age we were completely prepared for Bennett to be screaming. In fact, we almost didn't even try the pool with him. This is his first expression.
To say he loves swimming is an understatement. He had this expression on his face that you can just imagine a drunken sailor to have. He would kick his hands and feet and smile. He's a water boy!
Bennett wasn't sure about this little chair that he got. When he tries something new he always has this expression on his face.

I could not wait to start a fire to toast marshmallows for smores. Gary didn't want to because it was 100 degrees outside. The neighbors thought we were crazy. Gary is sweating over the fire but I was so excited. I just knew Anna Claire would have so much fun. She was not at all impressed. She did not want her marshmallow toasted. She just wanted to eat marshmallows out of the bag. So much for that!

Anna Claire with chocolate from the smores all over her face. After smores her Daddy caught her two lightening bugs. Anna Claire would walk all over the yard yelling "Bug...Bug...come here bug...Bug....where are you bug?"

Just a cute story about AC -- She has an inflatable water jet ski for the pool. Adults can also ride it so it does stand up to some pounds. Jessica had played on it as well as other adults. I got on it and Anna Claire started saying "No Ma...No Ma...No Ma..." Jessica said "Anna Claire, Ma won't get hurt. She'll be okay." Anna Claire said "Ma'll brake it Mommy!"
