I've quit posting the casualties. It was hard to do. Mainly because I feel that I am disrepecting our fallen soldiers by not posting daily. Yes, daily. I end up not having the time to update that part of the blog until maybe once a week. All of our soldiers are important and I have just felt so bad that I didn't stay up on it.
Did you realize that we still have casualties almost daily? You can go to http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/ for a daily update. It just makes me sick at my stomach to see the list. Daily. Iraq and Afghanistan are having so many casualties. Daily.
As of April 13th there have been 4,273 deaths in Iraq and 1,130 in Afghanistan. I had planned to attach a picture to go with the blog but just couldn't. I have several friends that still have a son over there and I know how hard the pictures are to look at.
