Gary and I took the kids to see Memaw and Papaw today. Papaw offered Anna Claire a tootsie pop and I told him he could not do that unless he offered Bennett one also. There was more Tootsie Pop on Bennett's shirt, arms and hands than he had in his mouth. We are at Memaw and Papaw's house. Papaw tries so hard to get to know the kids but they are seldom around him. I don't think Anna Claire realizes it but she eventually puts a hand on his knee. I know he was thrilled to death.
