We are "living" at Lost Bridge for three weeks. We've been here one week and we have two more weeks to go. I had planned to drive 22 minutes home every day to keep up with my online classes, but guess what? Garfield has an internet cafe. Yes, a town of 490 max. has an internet cafe. I checked it out yesterday and they assured me that I would have Internet "most" of the time. I'll try it out Wednesday.
June will be a busy month for Gary and me. First, living right on the edge of the water for a couple of weeks, home for a few days with the grandkids, and then off with Kaidence to Norfork for two weeks. Well, maybe two weeks. Gary and I will take separate vehicles. I don't see Kaidence being happy there for that long even though I will have a car full of water toys, crafts, books, coloring book and videos. I think we'll just take it day-by-day.
Here's our home for a couple of weeks. Notice the "anti-gravity" chairs. Sancy suggested I buy those and I finally did. Well worth the money. If you enlarge the picture you can also see the ice chest Gary bought at Bass Pro. It was supposed to be the best thing since Starbuck's coffee. The advertisement said it would keep food "frozen up to 6 days." Not true. By the 3rd day we had chilled at best drinks inside and the ice was completely melted.

Not only does this place have a very clean and safe swimming area for kids, their playground is well maintained and monitored all day.

If you close your eyes and listen to the waves, you can not believe you are not on the beach in Florida.

Scenes from the "front porch"

I think this guy saw me looking at him through my binoculars! Oops!

I'm also reading a good book that Brent left behind once. "Experiencing God." I'm really enjoying it and I'm glad I found it at the house.
Gary has knee surgery tomorrow and he'll be recuperating out here. It is supposed to rain Wednesday - Saturday so I'll be at Blockbuster today renting some good movies.
Yesterday as I was visiting with a neighbor she made a comment to me that "I don't seem the camping kind." She wasn't being insulting, just making an observation. We should all get out of our comfort zone because this "camping" really is a form of meditation to me. It's good for the soul.

Camping is great for the soul, that's what I love about it. Those anti gravity chairs are wonderful, Friends have them and I need one. If you need extra freezer space one thing I saw (and it works) ws they bought one of those small dorm room fridges with a freezer in it--small but helps out. ENJOY your 3 weeks
HUGS,
Karen
