Church, Toby Keith, Boat Ride and Bass Pro

We had a BIG weekend. I don't think we could have packed more fun in if we had tried. I will spare you most of the pictures but we took 191 pictures. Yes, we did. And....we still can not figure out this new camera! I guess we really will have to read the manual.

You will not want to read the entire blog. It's too much. I do try to chronicle what fun Gary and I have with the grandkids. Someday they are going to forget all the little things and I want them to know how much their Ma and Granddad loved them.

Sunday morning we went to church and heard Brent preach. He really is good. He doesn't really preach, he just talks to you. You leave with so much to think about. Gary and I got so much out of what he talked about.

Bass Pro - Riding the Boat. Our tradition (for me it's a forced tradition!) when we visit Brent and his family in Oklahoma is to go to Bass Pro Shop. I can't recall a time that we did not. A tradition for Anna Claire, and now Bennett, is to "ride" in the boat. Anna Claire will ask "Which way, Ma?" and I will respond "Go toward Granddad" or "That way" and she turns the steering wheel in the boat toward the way I tell her to go. Now, Bennett is doing it.

Oklahoma City - Toby Keith Restaurant


We ate out on the patio at the Toby Keith Restaurant. It was hot! Anna Claire was walking and she got very hot. She just started pulling up her dress to cool off. This was one of the decent pictures. (She was immediately stopped from pulling up her dress!)

Oklahoma City - Boat Ride. We took the boat ride along the canal. In this picture people are waving to Bennett and he is waving back. Sunday morning Brent asked Anna Claire what her favorite part was about the boat ride. She replied "Sitting by Ma." I wonder if she knows she has me wrapped around her tiny finger!
