I Guess I Need to Shop More....At Home!

Remember when I mentioned that Gary and I got lost in Springfield, MO trying to find "Camping World?" Well, we had found an electric griddle at Bass Pro several weeks ago but I thought it was too expensive. I wanted to see if Camping World had any (plus just see what all they had).

Last night I was putting a small coffee pot that I had taken to Lexington last weekend back on the top shelf in the pantry. To reach the top shelf requires a small ladder. As I was rearranging items I saw this black appliance. I asked Gary what it was and he said he didn't know but I should take it down so that we can see what it is. I did and it was an ELECTRIC GRIDDLE! We had one all along! So...Gary told me to keep looking and see what else we had. Big George Foreman grill! Bread machine!

I plan on making bread this weekend in the bread machine and we have the electric griddle and George Foreman grill out on the countertop to take to the travel trailer.

Moral to this story....don't go out shopping the minute you want something. Wait long enough and it may come to you! :)
