KAIDY

I'm pretty sure that Kaidy associates going to Betsy and Gary's house with Barnes and Noble. The two must go together. She used to call it "Bubbles" but now says "Barnes and Bubbles." We don't go unless we have a couple of hours to spend...just can't do it with her. Thomas the Train set is at least 45 minutes and then we read at least 10 books. We did find the book "Wheels on the Bus" and she really wanted it. They only had one left and it didn't work anymore. I'll have to keep looking. And then...we always have to buy some overpriced lemonade at the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble.

We read this book (it's about a pumpkin) at least five times. I really didn't understand the book. It was a little weird.

And, what trip is complete to Barnes and Noble without a two-year old trying to escape when I say "Time to go." I start preparing her 15 minutes before we leave by telling her that we will be leaving in five minutes and when we leave nice, sweet girls politely get up and walk out...no screaming fits! Here she is after I told her it was time to leave....at least she didn't have a screaming fit but she did try to get away from me.

See the red outfit she has on. It's Anna Claire's and Kaidence loves the red skirt. That's why just about every picture I have of her she is wearing the same outfit. She woke up and only wanted to wear the "skirt." We went upstairs and I let her pick out the outfit she wanted to wear. It's always the red outfit. I think it is the skirt she loves.

We made worms and bracelets with play doh, painted with water colors, and read lots of books.
