A Noneventful Day

Today, so far, as been noneventful. Thank goodness. We went to the Arts Festival at Pinnacle Promenade. We got there too early so we'll have to go back tomorrow. Played on the playground at the Food Court. Kaidy did get one little swat on the legs. I told her it was time to go home and she started running from me and laughing the entire time. The last time she was running from me she fell down and had a huge scrape on her face. So...this time it was not funny at all. Of course she cried when I gave her a tiny little swat but we sat by the waterfall and I explained to her that she could hurt herself like she did at the camp ground this summer.

When I finished explaining to her why you can't run on pavement she replied "I wanna go see Gary." Okay...I get it. She's mad at me so she wants Gary. I'm no longer wanted.

Running from Betsy...she may be laughing but I'm not! If you click once to enlarge the picture you can see that she is probably just a step away from falling down because she is laughing so hard.

Taking a break from the play area

Looking at me as I'm telling her to get off the top step for fear she'll fall in the water. She backs up to the very edge and she's watching me the entire time to see if I'm going to start walking toward her. I don't after I realized the water was only an inch deep at most. Since I didn't walk toward her she got off on her own...no longer fun!

The playground at the Food Court was very nice. Kaidy kept following this one girl around - almost to the point that I thought she was going to step on the little girl's toes. Well, it's nap time and I'm working (as soon as I quit blogging) and then we head to Walmart for some groceries.
