Plans didn't quite go the way we planned. At first Kaidy was very scared to touch the animals so she just looked at them on the other side of the fence.
I convinced her to go in the petting zoo. No one told me there were very aggressive African goats. There are signs everywhere to please keep the gates closed. Well, will someone please tell me how you get a 2 1/2 year old to hurry inside the gate? One goat got out, then two, then three. Major problems. The video below tells some of the story. I had to turn it off to take care of the situation!
Later we saw all four goats walking down the road. We decided not to stay for lunch. There were too many flies anyway.
Now I know why there are signs everywhere to "Please Wash Your Hands After Petting." It seems the procedure for a 2 1/2 year old is to (1) pet the animal and then (2) put your finger in your mouth.
We got home around 2:00 p.m. We were both pretty exhausted...for different reasons.

Then, we came home and played golf.
