Just Another Relaxing Day at the Cabin

Gary and I took our travel trailer to the Lake Eufala cabin/land. Anna Claire and I had the funniest conversation about "being neighbors." She really enjoyed us having the travel trailer close by. She and Bennett came over to "visit" and she immediately wanted to go to her bedroom and watch "Clifford, the Big Red Dog." Anna Claire, Ma and Papaw (Jessica's Dad) played several games of Candyland. After numerous games of Candyland Anna Claire came up with another game using the Candyland cards. It was very similar to the Memory game but Anna Claire did have to say "Ma, you're not following directions." Jessica wasn't at the cabin on Saturday/Sunday afternoon. She had to help with a shower in Bentonville on Sunday. Anna Claire and Ma looked for bugs Brent tried to take a nap in the hammock. Ha! Bennett driving golf cart Anna Claire kept asking Bennett if he would like to ride the golf cart and pretend it was a tractor. She wanted on the tractor but Bennett wouldn't get off. I brought William and Patrick's old tractor to the cabin. It was new so both kids spent an incredible amount of time trying to convince the other that it was time to share.

Bennett and Granddad on Four Wheeler. Granddad took Bennett riding on the four wheeler for a long time on Sunday afternoon. As soon as they stopped Granddad asked Bennett if he was ready for a nap. He mumbled "Um uh" and started to just lay his head on Gary's chest...while they were still on the four wheeler. He was so tired from all that riding. Out by the Camp Fire Bennett spotted the four wheeler under the shed. He would reach for the handle bars and say "Varoom" over and over. Then, he would put his hand out and yell "whish" just as Spiderman does when Spiderman throws his web. FUNNY THINGS THE KIDS DID Jessica's Dad "Rick" was also at the cabin. Once I was talking to Rick and I said "Rick...." Anna Claire looked at me and said "RICK!!! Ma, that Papaw, not Rick!"

Bennett is into trickery. He would come up to my back if I'm sitting on the floor and put his arms around me. Then, just as I would say "Oh Bennett, you are so sweet loving Ma" he would then start pinching me! He thought that was very, very funny.
