Back to the week...Shane took Jess to the airport on the 27th. Shane and Brent drove on to the cabin at Eufala. Gary, Bennett, Jessica, me and the kids left later. It's beautiful there this time of the year.

Last night we made Smores. Brent said this would be the last time we ever do this in the house again. Maybe he got tired of the marshmallows dropping on the carpet. Maybe.

Shane and Anna Claire enjoyed the smores more than anyone

Bennett finally gets his smores

This morning the kids looked so cute eating their toast and watching cartoons while everyone else was sound asleep.

Brent's good friend, Mark, was snowed in on Christmas in Oklahoma City. He was able to make it to the cabin and we fed him three-day old dressing, corn casserole, and potato casserole. This was his Christmas. He loved it!

The men in my life!

Gary and Shane

Also, this morning, Bennett kept putting his hand on the handle at the front door and saying "Gandad...Gandad..." So, Gary took the hint and he and Bennett went walking in the snow. Bennett is all decked out in his hunting cap and fireman rubber boots.

Anna Claire playing Candyland. Since we were snowed in Anna Claire and Ma played Candyland a lot!

Christmas is all about family and I was surrounded by family. The only thing that could have made this more perfect would have been having Jess with us the entire time. She had to return back to work and we missed her at Eufala!
