A Gift That Keeps on Giving

I never dreamed that all of us in the family would have our own "special" 2-Mama story. She always made each of us feel that we were the most important person in the world.

Here is another 2-Mama story from John Ogles (2-Mama's grandson).

Also, one time Gary was bringing me to her house from Texas. We didn't eat a thing because we knew she would have something cooked. We passed up McDonalds in Texarkana. This was a time before there was fast food places everywhere. After the 9 hour drive we pulled in and she thought that we would have eaten at the McDonalds. When she realized we didn't she put together the best meal.

And, my last 2-Mama story for this blog

From Peggy Carey (2-Mama's daughter)

Then there was the time that Sancy had to stay after school on Parent-Teacher day and I was also working. 2-Mama (82 or 83 years old) went to McGehee to watch the boys. Lea Anne passed by and every kid in the neighborhood was at Sancy's playing ball and 2-Mama was sitting in a lawn chair watching. Matt was no more than 2 or 3 years old.

Betsy,
Wonderful stories - and such a great legacy to leave for her family - to give them such wonderful memories to keep as time and family traditions go on.
Blessings my friend,
Sue
