Camping at Lost Bridge South Park

We have been at Lost Bridge South Park for over a week. We will stay here through the Labor Day holiday and leave next Tuesday. It has been so peaceful here. During the week there are very few people here. I noticed last night most of the camping sites were starting to get full. I don't really know why but at this park there are mostly RV's. There's not a lot of tent camping here.

Last night was the best for sleeping. There was a slight rain most of the night. The rain gently hit the skylight and sounded like a sound machine that Anna Claire and Bennett use at night to sleep.

The water is so clear and smooth. Last night Gary and I sat outside looking at the beautiful lake and watching tv. I am looking for a portable (runs on batteries) size 19 inch or more tv if anyone knows where I can get one. Notice the small (7 inch) tv on the picnic table. It's better than nothing but a HD 20 inch tv would be perfect! I will eventually get this camping down to just like home!

This week Gary and I have been very busy. I've had some very important state reports to turn in and Gary has had volleyball and football activities to go to. My office at work is just temporary quarters until the education building is rennovated. I am so ready to move into my new office! Trying to work at home in the corner of the bedroom is not working for me. But, I know I'm lucky that I have a job that I can work from home. It's just that when you work from home your work never stops.

Well, it's 6:50 a.m. and I need to do some work on my online classes before I go to campus for meetings all day! Today is football Friday so Gary is busy and then we have the Razorback game tomorrow!
