Bennett Trying on Hunting Boots at Sports Academy

I took Bennett and Anna Claire to Sports Academy in Norman the other day. Bennett wanted to look at the hunting boots. He found a pair and insisted on trying them on. They were a men's adult size 11. Bennett is two years old and wears a toddler/infant size 9 1/2. I told him he got hunting boots for Christmas. He said they weren't hunting boots; they didn't look like Daddy's.

All the way home he kept saying "The hunting boots fit me....Ma." Well, actually he's right. He did get his foot in them, easily. He got a Spiderman fishing pole at Sports Academy so he quickly forgot about how much he wanted those hunting boots. Now he wants a tackle box...a real tackle box, not the Spiderman one. He said he needed a tackle box to put worms in.

I've learned to pick my arguments with Bennett. He has to learn by trial and error. He is just like his Daddy was at that age.
