My nephew, Matt Courson, graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, on May 23, 2011. This was more than your average college graduation. In April, 2006, Matt was in a four-wheeler accident and had a wreck. He is paralyzed from the waist down and in 2006 the doctors told him he would never walk again. My family is not your average family. Matt told the doctor he would walk again. And he did. He walked across the stage to get his diploma.
