Today was just a lazy day at Ma and Granddad's. We have been busy all week so we thought today would be a good day to swim and play at the house.
Bennett couldn't wait to put on his dinosaur underwear. Anna Claire asked me to lay out her outfits so that she could pick the one she wanted. We had planned to take the kids canoeing but then Gary found out that the shortest trip was two hours. We felt that would be too long for the kids. Plus, I think they just wanted to play at the house.
Right after breakfast Anna Claire and Bennett went outside to play and swim.
Anna Claire decorated my bushes.
They were swimming off and on today.
Bennett said he was the "Belly Buster King." Anna Claire asked him to show her how to do a belly buster. That was her goal all day today. Bennett kept saying "Watch me Sissy. I'll show you."
I would say she's getting it. That looks like a good belly buster to me.
Here Bennett is showing her the correct way. He kept saying "Put your arms out Sissy, you aren't doing that." You can see that Anna Claire is watching very carefully how to perfect the Belly Buster.

And, he got it.
So much for all the sweet faces. It's silly time now. After this picture I helped Anna Claire collect rocks and put them in categories. She had a sharp rock collection, special rock collection, smooth rock collection and large rock collection.
They are going home tomorrow and I'm not sure what Granddad and I will do. It will sure be different around here. We will meet Brent in Tulsa at the Tulsa Aquarium. They have had a blast but we have too.
