Another busy but wonderful day. My day started off just right. I'm in the bathroom washing my face, still dressed in my comfy pajama's, no makeup except for yesterday's eye makeup on my face under my eye, and my socks that I sleep in. Bennett walks in the bathroom, lays his left hand on my right knee, and looks in my eyes and says "Ma, you are so beautiful." Anna Claire was in my bedroom laying out her clothes on the floor IN THE ORDER that she will put them on. She overheard Bennett and she gets off the floor, walks in the bathroom, comes up to me and says "Ma, you have young bones!"
Oh my, how can I keep them three years old and five years old. I would if I could!
Back to Anna Claire's dressing herself. She lays her clothes out on the floor. First, panties, then shorts, and then shirt. In that order.
I weighed Anna Claire and she weighs 37.6 pounds. She is 5 years and 4 months. She wears a size 5 clothes. I forgot to weigh Bennett. He is 3 years and 3 months and wears a size 3 clothes. They both wear size 10 shoes, or at least they did at the beginning of the summer. I think Bennett's feet have grown since then.
Anna Claire's favorite food is spaghetti. Bennett's is corn dogs or grilled cheese sandwiches. Bennett used to love spaghetti and strawberries but he no longer likes them. At bedtime they love to go to bed with Ma early and watch 2 cartoons on Netflix and eat kettle popcorn. Bennett told me it was fun to watch cartoons with Ma.
Bennett's job while he was here was to take care of the pool. He would clean leaves out of the skimmer and check the chemicals.
They both woke up very sad. Today was the day they would go home and neither of them wanted to but I honestly think if they had stayed longer then they would have been so homesick and it would have been hard to keep them happy.
So, we have family picture time before we load up in the car to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma to go to the Oklahoma Aquarium. Brent would meet us there this afternoon.

Bennett would not put his face in the mouth of the alligator. Ma was showing him how but he still would not do it.
But Anna Claire would.
This is what Bennett came to see. Sharks!
When we finished looking at the exhibits we headed to the gift shop. As soon as we walked in Anna Claire whispered "You are not going to spoil us, are you Ma?" I replied "Sure I am. You both get to pick out one thing." Anna Claire said "Yay!" and so did Bennett. They even picked Sutton out something.
Well....back to reality. We left to go home, without grandkids, around 2:00 PM. We got home at 4:00 PM. As soon as we walked in the door Gary said "I already miss the kids." I said "Please don't talk about it." Now, we are two old mopey grandparents not knowing what to do or in the mood to do it if we knew what to do. I miss the kids.
