I hate to brag but here goes! ha! I had the BEST weekend. First, Saturday I took my first knitting lesson in Bentonville at Mockingbird Yarn. LOVED IT! I'm terrible but I don't care. I'll get better.
I came home and did William's laundry and then practiced my knitting. After that I got completely caught up with my grading.
This morning (Sunday morning) Gary and I were able to Skype with Brent, Jessica, Sutton, Anna Claire and Bennett. Yes, I said Sutton. Sutton was so excited to see us. He yelled something the whole time and kept waving at us. Everytime we would say Sutton he would look at us and yell and wave. Gary said he was saying Granddad...whatever! We talked a very long time.
After that, I made taco soup and we took it to Gary's parents for lunch. After lunch we met William and Katie at Cracker Barrell so that William could get his clothes. Then we stopped at Walgreens to buy four 24 packs of bottled water. It was on sale for $2.97 for a 24 pack. Then...Academy Sports. This is unreal. I bought 4 nice sweatsuits, 5 tops, 2 of those dry fit jockshorts for Gary, 3 shorts. All for $121. Yep...$121.
On the way home we had a nice long phone conversation with Shane. He was studying and Jess had just left to go running.
Came home...paid bills...balanced checkbook...organized some files on the computer...printed Jessica's blog for Mr. Orr....started a new batch of sourdough bread.
Pretty productive weekend.
Now, it's time to get ready for a busy week. Brent reminded us this morning there was a certain shot we HAD to get this week because we have to get it again the week before we go to India. That shot plus 4 more. Next week I will not be in such a good mood. I'm not a "shot" person.
