Friday morning, March 9th, finally arrived. Our neighbor, Gloria, arrived at the house at 8:30 a.m. to take us to the airport for a 10:41 a.m. flight from northwest Arkansas to Chicago. From Chicago we flew to Frankfurt, Germany.
To pass the time at the Frankfurt airport I got out my knitting supplies and was able to spend a lot of time knitting. In the part of the airport where we had to stay there weren't any shops. Gary and I were both bored but we were so excited about going to Pune that we were happy anyway.
From Frankfurt to Pune we flew Lufthansa. I LOVE the airplane stewardesses outfits. They wore these little hats that were just too cute!
Gary's job was to guard the carry on's.
