We have a lot to learn on how to load the kayaks on the car. We could have taken the truck but we have new racks on top of the car just for the kayaks. We wanted to try them out. This is better than depending on an outfitter company to shuttle us back and forth when we want to go kayaking.
First, it took us as long to load the kayaks on the car as it does to get the boat or travel trailer ready to go camping. Working the straps is harder than it looks but we will get better.
We went to Beaver Dam, which is not far from the house. There were so many choices but for today, Beaver Dam was a better place for Gary to fish. You can barely see his fishing pole attached to the kayak.
I took my camera but today wasn't the best day for taking pictures of mother nature or anything else.

I love kayaking, more than Gary. My favorite things about this kayak is the little cup holder that sits right in front of me between my legs. Next, are the foot rest things. Next, the padded seat and seat back, and then we have a big dry well in the front and in the back.
The drive home was an experience. We kept stopping to check things that were rattling. It will be much easier just using the truck The only thing missing was a way to lay down to take a nap. It was so quite that I got very, very sleepy.
