Our goal this past week was to watch Bennett in three t-ball games. Due to tornados everywhere we only saw one game. Gary and I took the camper to Lake Thunderbird thinking we would have a relaxing week with family. Well, the weather did not allow that. I felt like we were dodging tornados all week.
Anna Claire is the proud manager of the Blue Jays. Ma made her the manager t-shirt.

Brent, standing behind Bennett, is the Blue Jay's coach.
I'm not sure what the little boy on second base is doing. Looks like he is drawing in the dirt. Bennett has been very focused.
Lots of standing around because the little guys don't hit it very far.
Sutton enjoyed the game eating popcorn.
Brent doing some coaching to Bennett.
Sutton
We were also blessed to be able to watch Bennett at basketball camp. He spent the night with us the first night so we took him to camp the next morning. As usual, we were too early so Gary (Granddad) and Bennett got to have some basketball time.
Sutton makes a playground out of everything. He played in a mud hole in the backyard. I'm pretty sure he made that mud hole. Jessica was in the house. Gary was outside with the kids. He said he turned around and this is what he saw!
The next thing I knew, this is what I saw!

The funniest thing that Sutton said this week went something like this:
We arrived at a restaurant. I was in the back seat with Bennett. When we stopped Bennett said "Ladies first." (Isn't he the sweetest little boy!") Out of the blue Sutton said "Old ladies first." Well, we laughed and laughed so for the next hour he kept saying "Old ladies first." "Old ladies first." Directed at me!
We left Friday morning to go home. It's a good thing. A tornado ripped through El Reno, Oklahoma City, and Norman and went right to Lake Thunderbird. Brent had to take shelter in their storm shelter. I can only imagine what would have happened if we had kept the camper at Lake Thunderbird.
Anna Claire and I didn't get any knitting done. We usually knit a little but we didn't have time. Jessica and Anna Claire are taking a sewing class Wednesday. I can't wait to hear all about it. They took a knitting class a week or so ago.
