Everyone knows I love Christmas....and Thanksgiving....and just about any holiday there is. But, I really love Thanksgiving and Christmas. Growing up everyone in my family was together on those two holidays.
We were blessed this year to have Brent, Jessica and the kids and Shane and Jess. It's certainly nice to have everyone under the same roof....even if it's just for a day.
It was cold outside. Anna Claire, Bennett and me made a bird feeder to hang outside. Bennett wasn't really "into" it.
He was responsible for hanging a bird feeder in the front yard. He did an excellent job.
What a surprise. Anna Claire decided she wanted to wash dishes. We have a dishwasher......the name is Anna Claire! No really, we do have a dishwasher but I don't think we ever used it.
Sutton wanted to draw.
Anna Claire is a writer. She spent a lot of time in my office writing at the computer. I seriously need to teach her home row.
Anna Claire, Jessica and Bennett working on a puzzle.
Reading.
Poor Sid. No...you are not coming in.
Anna Claire loves her Aunt Jess. When Shane and Jess arrived they had not been in the house (after driving 11 hours) for five minutes before Anna Claire asked her if she wanted to go in the craft/home office room and sew.
Jessica and me.
Jess and me.
All of us together.
Opening presents. Sutton isn't sure where to begin.
Bennett got REAL shoulder pads.
And a REAL football helmet....thank you Jim Beasley. Jim is a REAL football coach. That's the only way we could get a REAL helmet!
Sutton got a Batman cave.
Tom's shoes for Anna Claire.
Chaos. Just plain chaos and I love it.
Shane and Jess have presents also! They aren't opening yet. We are all just watching the kids.
More Tom's shoes.
North Face jacket for Shane.
I'm not sure Anna Claire realized what this was when she first opened it.
A Kindle with a leather case.
Bennett trying out some of his new jerseys.
Sutton with a Batman scooter and a Joybay rideon.
Sutton playing with his little Batman people.
Bennett with some of his presents.
Anna Claire got a Hello Kitty from Japan from Aunt Jess.
One of Jessica's presents. Jessica celebrates each child's birthday for the entire month of their birthday. She can put their name on this door hanger and hang it on her front door.
Anna Claire with some "Frozen" books.
Shane got his law certificate framed. Someday he'll appreciate it! :)
Ma and Bennett.
Sutton stayed quite the rest of the night. All he wanted to do was play with his Batman and Batman cave.
I told Sutton to turn around so I could take his picture. He turned around!
