Dear Kaidence,
How did you turn 3 on me??? You are turning into such a wonderful little girl. You know Miss Betsy loves you so much. You are so sweet and such a caring person. There is just so much I love about you. One thing is your independence. Although, I wish you were NOT so independent at times, especially when we go to the mall, parking, fast food places, crossing the street, getting dressed. Just about everything. You are one determined little girl.
Mr. Gary and I have so much fun with you. We think you are especially funny when you call the travel trailer "Gary's house" and you call our home "Betsy's house." We don't know how you came up with that but it is cute. And then, I love singing the "Little Monkey's" song to you; although, I do get a little tired of it. You especially love for me to point to my head.
Remember the last time I took you home and you needed to go to the bathroom. There wasn't a place so I pulled off the road and we went into this field. You wouldn't do it for the world. As I tried to model the behavior wanted, I was getting very nervous wondering if someone would drive by. I could have been arrested. What on earth would someone think seeing an elderly woman with her pants down and a toddler completly naked in a field! Oh Lord! We laughed and laughed at me trying to teach you and you trying to do it. You insisted on taking off ALL your clothes and I tried to convince you not to do that. No luck. We finally gave up and I put a pull-up on you. I LOVE pull ups!
You are especially funny when I put you down for nap time. You attempt to play and swing on the door until I yell at you to get back into bed. You always look at the tv monitor and yell back "You watching me?" (I'm not really yelling..just talking very loud! ha!)
I sure do have to buy a lot of stickers to put by the toilet. You love putting one on every time you even walk in the bathroom. And then, there's "Dirty hands Betsy?" and I always say "Yes" so we wash and wash and wash our hands. You must have the cleanest hands in northwest Arkansas.
You love to look at pictures of Anna Claire and Bennett and have me tell you stories about them. Although, I do think you are becoming a little jealous of Bennett. You've started saying quite often "This is mine...not baby Bennett's." You say that every time you climb in the car seat even though I do have two car seats and you NEVER climb in Bennett's.
We have some good times, don't we? You have a wonderful family and they all love you so much!
I hope you have a Happy Birthday!
We love you,
Mr. Gary and Miss Betsy
