No, I don't normally post what I receive for Christmas. But....I love this goblet. Matt's friend, Erika, had given this to Sancy in December while we were in Baltimore to give me but things were so hectic then that didn't happen. Mother was here this weekend and she brought it. I love nice wine glasses and goblets. This one is one that will be setting out for display and not hid in a cabinet.
It's not on my kitchen counter even though it looks like it is. I have a french butler across from my pantry and that is where I display the wine glasses, etc. In the glass door you can kinda see one of my Kentucky Derby glasses, a wine bottle from Josh and Katie's wedding, and a champagne bottle that Curtis Lee gave Gary and me when we got married in 1976.
The Charles Shaw is from Sancy. You can not buy it in Arkansas. Several years ago on Good Morning America when Diane Sawyer was hosting she was raving about "Two Buck Chuck." At the time Sancy sent me an email to tell me about it and so the search was on for Two Buck Chuck. I went to every liquor store within a 30 mile radius and then found out the real name and also found out you can not buy it in Arkansas. I do love this wine! Josh and Katie always bring some to Sancy and Johnny when they visit so I'm always able to get a bottle every now and then.
