The barong dance of Bali is the most well known dance. It is a story through dance illustrating the fight between good and evil. This dance is the classic way of the Balinese acting out mythology.
Randa, the mother of Erlangga, the King of Bali, was condemned by Erlangga's father because she practiced black magic. After she became a widow, she summoned all the evil spirits in the jungle to come after Erlangga.
These two guys were playing music near the entrance to the barong dance.
